In September, Katlin was interviewed by JJ Adams of the Vancouver Sun as part of the "Raise-A-Reader" series where her sister and brother-in-law were being featured. 

A quote from Katlin includes, “I think reading is so important beyond the obvious of expanding knowledge and skills but to hone in on our sense of imagination. Especially as adults, I feel like that is something we lose from our childhood. And when perhaps our daily lives or the world around us seem to get a little too heavy or intense, reading can provide a brief escape into another world where you can immerse yourself into a character’s story and open yourself up to new possibilities.”
